As an individual with ADHD, my mind is constantly running wild at any given moment. This image shows the difference between those with ADHD (right side) and those without (left side). Whenever I experience a familiar touch, taste, or smell my mind begins to wander taking me back to the time when I first experienced that familiar sensation. The lines are loose and the zig-zags are more hectic because this is how I am able to visualize things so clearly. I always wonder if others have not only, such vivid thoughts and memories but also thoughts about why we connect memories so deeply to touch as well as other senses.
